Endodontics
The word itself originates from the Greek „endo” that means „inside” and „odons” that means „tooth”. Endodontics is a speciality of dentistry that deals with the tooth pulp and tissues surrounding the root of the tooth.
It covers for instance root canal treatment, treatment of cracked teeth. If the pulp is injured endodontics is required to save the tooth.
